A bit about me…
For as long as I can remember, I knew that I wanted to be an artist. Had to be an artist. In elementary school, I would spend countless hours in my room at my drawing table designing logos for businesses that existed only in my head, t-shirts and deck graphics for imaginary skate companies, and gig posters for my favorite bands. When I discovered that this passion of mine had a name—graphic design—that was it; I knew my calling. With a sharp eye for detail, I explored various mediums, blending traditional techniques with modern tools to create captivating pieces. As the tools evolved, so did I. Eventually I made the move from Phoenix, Arizona to Austin, Texas to surround myself with fellow creatives in a vibrant and dynamic environment.
Even now, after having done this professionally for over 15 years, I still find every project a thrilling opportunity to learn, evolve, and hone my skills. I approach each new challenge with the same curiosity and enthusiasm as I did as a child. I believe that good design is not merely a superficial veneer, but a deep connection, inviting others to see beauty and meaning in everyday moments often overlooked.
When I’m not at my desk putting pencil to paper (or mouse to screen), I’m enjoying the bounty that life has to offer with my wife and best friend, Mariah, and my precious children Wyatt (9) and Harper (6), who constantly remind me how to look at the world with wonder and curiosity.
